Archery Programs

COVID-19 Update: In accordance with the Governor’s "Stay Home, Stay Safe, Save Lives" order, the Livonia Archery Range will delay its opening for the 2020 season to Saturday, April 18 at 10 a.m. 

Please check the Livonia Parks & Recreation website for more information or changes to the opening date. 

All spring archery range classes and programming is available for online registration starting April 13. Registered participants will be contacted in regards to changes/status of classes and programming.

The range is located on Glendale Avenue off of Farmington Road between I-96 and Plymouth Road.

Hours of Operation

The Livonia Archery Range will be closed the following dates due to holidays: 

  • Saturday, July 4th
  • Sunday, July 5th

April Through August

  • Saturday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Sunday: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

September Through October

  • Tuesday and Thursday: 4 p.m. - dusk
  • Saturday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Sunday: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

november

  • Saturday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Sunday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • The last day of open shooting for the Livonia Archery Range is Sunday, November 22.

Season Passes

A Season Pass will allow the bearer unlimited use of the archery range during posted hours for the entire season. Please note that we will still offer the daily pass option. The new individual prices and season passes are as follows:

Archery 101: The Basics

Each session allows new and/or beginning individual archers to have the opportunity to learn the basics of archery through instruction, drills, and activities. Topics covered include safety, bow types, and shooting techniques.

Archery for Families

This class will provide an opportunity for entire families to experience the sport of archery! These classes will focus on range safety, shooting form/technique and some friendly family competitions! Families must have a minimum of three members and a maximum of six members attending the class with at least one parent or guardian per family.

scout nights

Is your scout troop looking for an opportunity to gain another badge? This class provides scouts with the chance to gain their archery badge! 

All equipment and training will be provided at the Livonia Archery Range. Badges included in registration fee. USA Archery Level 2 instructors will lead the lessons.

Beginner Archery Classes

Everyone learning a new sport must start somewhere! These classes are designed to provide new archers with a focused program on the basics of the sport of archery. Included in the classes is bow and range safety, proper technique/stance, bow types and much more. 

All equipment and materials for the classes are provided by the Livonia Archery Range. Participants may bring their own bows and arrows if desired. Instructor: USA Archery Level 2 Instructor
