The Livonia Housing Commission currently operates 15 single family scattered site public housing units and 14 single family scattered site Community Development Block Grant Program flat rent housing units.
Subsidized Public Housing Units
The 15 public housing units are federally subsidized, calculating rent based on 30% of household income. The public housing program is subject to income limits, as well as, household occupancy standards.
Monthly Rent Rates
The 13 flat rent housing units are not federally subsidized with monthly rents set on a annual basis by the Livonia Housing Commission. The flat rent housing program is subject to income limits, as well as, housing occupancy standards.
Flat Rents Effective March 1, 2019
Two bedroom: $620 per month (Waiting list for 2 bedroom is currently closed)
Three bedroom: $690 per month (Currently accepting applications)
Four bedroom: $760 per month (Currently accepting applications)

The approximate wait time is 2 to 5 years. As of July 1, 2014, the waiting list for 2-bedroom scattered site homes has been closed.
