Mission

 The Greenleaf Commission on Sustainability shall promote efficiency, conservation and environmentally sustainable practices in the City of Livonia.

To be a leading community in southeast Michigan for the development and widespread implementation of environmentally friendly initiatives, continuously striving for a sustainable environment for future generations.

Overview

The Greenleaf Commission on Sustainability consists of up to seven members, appointed by and to serve at the pleasure of the Mayor.  They will hold six meetings per year during odd numbered months and the director of Public Works (or the director’s designee) shall be an ex officio member of the commission.
