    Join us for Music From the Heart on Thursday, Aug. 13 from 7 - 9 p.m. with the Devin Scillian & Arizona Son Band. Television viewers in Michigan and Ontario know him as their evening news anchor on WDIV-TV, NBC in Detroit. And music lovers know him as the winner of the prestigious Detroit Music Award for Best Country Performer. An accomplished musician and songwriter, Devin has released four albums of his original songs. He and his band Arizona Son make frequent appearances on the summer concert circuit. He’s opened for Toby Keith, Reba McEntire, and LeAnn Rimes. ***Music From the Heart has a new location this year!! All concerts will take place on the east side of the Jack E. Kirksey Recreation Center, 15100 Hubbard. Please plan on parking in the Five Mile lot. Alternate parking is available in Rec Center parking lot. Cruizin’ Jupiter is a high energy cover band playing the greatest hits from the last five decades, including rock, classic rock, new country, funk, top 40s, disco, pop, hip hop, old school rap, and dance. Consisting of all seasoned musicians with roots in many genres of popular music, they focus on fun, danceable music and give the audience no choice but to become completely engaged in the performance. ***Music From the Heart has a new location this year!!   1. Music From the Heart featuring Sinjon Smith - Pre-registration required

    Governor Whitmer has issued an executive order limiting outdoor events to 100 people. We are requiring pre-registration for Music From the Heart. Please use the link to sign up to attend the concert on Thursday, Aug. 6, featuring Sinjon Smith. This link is only good for the Aug. 6 concert. Register online at the link below. Create an account for online registration. Select Special Events. Register for the Sinjon Smith concert. Complete transaction! Each family member that is attending must register. Registration is limited to Livonia residents only! When the event is full, you will be put on a waitlist. When you register, you will be sent a list of instructions to follow. Music From the Heart takes place at the Kirksey Recreation Center. Enter Rec Center from the Five Mile Road parking lot to check-in. Each session will focus on the many different ways Bob has spread the Joy of Painting with landscapes that feature strong mountains, tall waterfalls, deep woods, lovely cabins and big crashing waves.
