To Work Service for SMART and D-DOT Riders

Livonia Community Transit (LCT) provides 'To Work' service for passengers coming into Livonia from the SMART and D-DOT bus systems.  Passengers are shuttled to and from the SMART and D-DOT locations to pre-determined Livonia bus stops.  The SMART and D-DOT locations are considered "Hubs".  The 'To Work' program operates Monday - Friday only.  There is no weekend service and service is not available on major holidays. 

The SMART hub is located on Grand River just north of 8 Mile Road.  SMART passengers can connect to LCT by using route #305/330*.  The D-DOT hub is located behind Costco, which is at I-96 and Middlebelt Road. D-DOT passengers can connect to LCT by using route #38*. 
These two hubs are the only locations to transfer from SMART or D-DOT.  The bus will pick up from both hubs starting at 6:00, 7:00, and 8:00 a.m.  Return trips to the hubs are made at  4:00, 5:00, and 6:00 p.m.  There is no mid-day service.  The cost per ride is $2.00 each way.  DRIVERS DO NOT CARRY CASH AND CANNOT MAKE CHANGE.  Riders using the D-DOT system can transfer to and from Livonia Community Transit at a cost of .25 cents.  Transfers cannot be used with SMART.
