Making a Reservation for Senior and Disabled Service
Transportation is arranged on a first-come, first-serve basis. Reservations are requested at least one week in advance, but rides may be scheduled as far as 90 days in advance. Livonia Community Transit can sometimes accommodate requests at short notice. Call the Transit office for availability.
When calling to make a reservation, you must give the following information for our records:
- Name, address and phone number
- Destination with address, suite #, appointment time, doctor's name and telephone number
- Type of disability, if any
- Type of mobility device, if any
Passengers must be ready for their pick-up 1/2 hour before their scheduled time. The bus will wait up to 3 minutes before leaving.
Cancellations/No Shows/Late Cancel Policy
If you need to cancel a reservation, we ask you call the office before 1:00 p.m. the previous day or as soon as possible. We understand that sometimes cancellations are unavoidable, but remember it's costly both in time and money for the bus to make trips that are unnecessary.
