Categories: Front Page News

Several members of the Livonia Police Department will be participating in the Police Unity Tour in May. The Police Unity Tour raises awareness of Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty. It also raises funds for the National Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial and Museum.

The Police Unity Tour is a four-day fund-raising bicycle ride from Florham Park, NJ to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, D.C.  Their motto is “WE RIDE FOR THOSE WHO DIED”.

To help the LPD members participating in the bicycling event, the Police Department is selling commemorative coins and t-shirts (coming soon).  The coins are $20 each and can be purchased at the Livonia Police Department or Livonia City Hall.

For more information on the event, please visit the Police Unity Tour website.
