Planning Commission

1. WAIVER PETITION: Petition 2026-01-02-01, submitted by Great Lakes Pawn, requesting waiver use approval for outdoor display of merchandise, at 27675 Grand River Avenue, located on the south side of Grand River Avenue between Eight Mile Road and Antago Street, in the northeast ¼ of Section 1.

2. WAIVER PETITION: Petition 2026-02-02-06, submitted by Greg Marselis of Livonia Properties, LLC, requesting waiver use approval to operate a full-service restaurant and outdoor seating at 35841 Plymouth Road, located on the south side of Plymouth Road between Yale Avenue and Levan Road in the Northeast ¼ of Section 32.

3. SITE PLAN PETITION: Petition 2026-01-08-01, submitted by Marwan Haidar on behalf of M Corp Holdings LLC. requesting site plan approval to demolish the existing gas station and fuel pumps at 29230 Five Mile Road, and construct a new gas station convenience store and fuel pumps, located the northeast corner of Middle Belt Road and Five Mile Road in the southwest ¼ of Section 13.

4. APPOINTMENT OF BENJAMIN GRIER TO THE LIVONIA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORP.: for a three-year term, which will expire on June 7, 2029.

5. APPOINTMENT OF ROBERT DONOVIC TO THE LIVONIA BROWNFIELD REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY: to complete a vacated three-year term, which will expire on November 24, 2028. 

6. REQUEST TO APPROVE ADJUSTMENTS IN SALARY AND BENEFITS FOR APPOINTED DEPARTMENT HEADS FOR THE PERIOD DECEMBER 1, 2025, THROUGH NOVEMBER 30, 2028.

7. REQUEST TO APPROVE CITY OF LIVONIA AFSCME UNION LOCAL 192 CONTRACT AGREEMENT FOR THE PERIOD DECEMBER 1, 2025, THROUGH NOVEMBER 30, 2028.

8. REQUEST TO APPROVE ADJUSTMENTS IN SALARY AND BENEFITS FOR NON-REPRESENTED CITY OF LIVONIA EMPLOYEES FOR THE PERIOD DECEMBER 1, 2025, THROUGH NOVEMBER 30, 2028.

9. REQUEST TO APPROVE ADJUSTMENTS IN SALARY AND BENEFITS FOR NON-APPOINTED DEPARTMENT HEADS FOR THE PERIOD DECEMBER 1, 2025, THROUGH NOVEMBER 30, 2028.

12. REQUEST TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING FRIDAY, APRIL 24, 2026, AS ARBOR DAY IN THE CITY OF LIVONIA: to be celebrated at Riley Elementary, 15555 Henry Ruff, Livonia, Michigan.

13. REQUEST TO AUTHORIZE ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION AND EXPENDITURE: for the Livonia (Glendale) Type III Landfill and Underground Storage Tank Investigations, in the amount of $27,000.00, from budgeted funds.

Engineering Division

14. REQUEST TO ACCEPT STORM WATER FACILITIES MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT: from Livonia Public Schools Early Childhood Center (ECC) in construction of a storm drain system that provides adequate drainage at 18000 Newburgh Road, in the S.W. 1/4 of Section 8.

15. REQUEST TO ACCEPT STORM WATER FACILITIES MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT: from Livonia Public Schools Career Technical Center (CTC) in construction of a storm drain system that provides adequate drainage at 8985 Newburgh Road, in the S.E. 1/4 of Section 31.

16. REQUEST TO WAIVE THE FORMAL BIDDING PROCESS AND APPROVE THE 2026 LANE LINE MARKING PROGRAM BY EXTENDING CONTRACT 25-H UNIT PRICES WITH PK CONTRACTING, INC.: for Contract 26-H in the amount of $125,000.00 (CR 281-25)
