Passport to Safety

The Livonia Police Department invites everyone to the annual Passport to Safety event 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 7. The event will be held at the Livonia Police and Fire Department campuses. The day will feature 10 safety stations to teach children how to call 911 in an emergency, how to ride a bicycle safely, the dangers of the Internet, weather safety and much more! Police K-9 demonstrations, raffle drawings, free bicycle helmets, and live entertainment, including McGruff the Crime Dog, will be among the day’s highlights. Families will also get to meet Cooper, the department's therapy dog, and meet the horses from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Mounted Unit.

Keeping children safe is a top priority, and Passport to Safety is a fun way for kids to learn. Please join us at this free event to educate our children in a fun and exciting way! Find Livonia Passport to Safety on Facebook!
