Construction Site at the Kirksey Recreation Center

#RecreatingTheRec

A portion of Hubbard Road, south of Five Mile Road, will be closed for approximately two weeks to complete some Kirksey Recreation Center construction items. In the coming weeks, the road will be closed for construction, with traffic being detoured around the area. A map, date range, and detailed detour route will be provided soon.

The Main Gyms will close in July 2025 once the new West Gym is complete. The full project is expected to be completed in December 2025. You can visit LivoniaBuilt.org to see the specific timeline for each phase. For more details, check out our Frequently Asked Questions.

Stay up to date on construction at the Kirksey Recreation Center and Livonia Senior Wellness Center at LivoniaBuilt.org. You've already subscribed to this e-newsletter, so make sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram and bookmark the website for all the latest details.
