Parks and Rec job fair

Don’t miss the chance to attend the job fair at the Kirksey Recreation Center 1-3 p.m. Saturday, April 27! Learn about our exciting job openings and meet us face-to-face to interview with us on the spot. We have building supervisors, swim instructors, lifeguards, athletic supervisors, front desk staff, Kid Quarter attendants, plus more positions available! Calling all scout groups, civic organizations, school groups, and whoever wants to help! Take Pride in Livonia Day is a morning where groups help clean parks in Livonia and enjoy a hot dog lunch afterward at Ford Field until noon. Join us 9-11 a.m. Saturday, May 4.

This event is co-sponsored by Livonia Parks and Recreation and the Wolverine Conservation Club. Interested groups can contact Billy at wkeppen@livonia.gov.

Audition for Livonia Community Theatre's Latest!

Shakespeare auditions

The auditions for the Shakespeare in the Park rendition of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" are right around the corner. Drop in 1-4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, April 27-28 at the Kirksey Recreation Center. Not only are actors needed, but also dancers, musicians, acrobats, stilt walkers, unicyclists, jugglers, magicians, stage crew and more. Show dates are July 19-21 and 26-28.
