hIRING FOR TWO FULL-TIME POSITIONS AND SEASONAL POSITIONS

It is that time of year where we’re taking applications for our summer staffing needs like camp counselors and lifeguards, but we are also hiring for two full-time positions, an Athletic Coordinator and a Communications Coordinator. 

The Athletic Coordinator is a professional full-time position, that is responsible for the planning and operation of the Parks & Recreation Department's Athletic Programs and Outdoor Athletic facilities. This includes coordinating our adult sport leagues, youth baseball league, field/court/pavillion rentals and more! The yearly salary is $61,610.00. Click here for the job details. 

The Communications Coordinator is a professional full-time position, that is responsible for supporting Parks & Recreation Department programs through the use of social media posts, the e-newsletter, the website, flyers, photos, etc. The annual salary is $42,577.60. T-Ball/Coach Pitch Fun!

This league is an introduction to the concept of baseball and softball. Youngsters receive instruction and scrimmage with other teams. Sportsmanship, fun, and participation are stressed. Each season lasts for approximately eight weeks, with practices, and scrimmages starting between 6-7:15 p.m. at a ball diamond in Livonia. Each participant needs to supply their own athletic shoes, pants, glove, and batting helmet. Each participant receives a team hat and jersey. The cost for residents is $50 and $60 per non-resident.
