Bring That Special Someone Out to Dance

New Someone Special Dance Bringing Families Together!

The Kirksey Recreation Center has four dances coming up in January and February with an Under The Sea theme, but our newest is the Someone Special Dance 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan.26. Whether a parent, step-parent, aunt, uncle, grandparent or older sibling, come have some fun with that someone special in your life. Come dance, play, snack, and make memories! The cost for residents is $12 and $15 for non-residents. Each attendee ages 2 and older must register.
Daddy Daughter Dance

Bring your dad out for an under the sea-themed dance 

Come on out for a memorable time with your father for either one of the Daddy Daughter Dances, so mark your calendars 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27. Register before these sell out!
A Fluffy Penguin Friend

Winter waddles stuff-a-pet

Waddle in to the Kirksey Recreation Center 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21, for some penguin fun this winter! Listen to the story “Tacky the Penguin” by Helen Lester, stuff your own penguin squishy to take home, and enjoy some themed games, arts and crafts the day after Penguin Awareness Day. There is the option to take home a kit if need be, as well. The price for members is $22, residents are $25, and non-residents are $33. Register in advance.
