The BIG Picnic Brings Families Together for Greenmead Fun July 9

Mark your calendars now to bring the family over to Greenmead Historical Park 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 9, for The BIG Picnic. We'll have live music, tours, fitness classes, story times, archery, lawn games and face painting available; just bring your own picnic food and a blanket to enjoy in between events! There is no cost to attend or pre-registration required.

Greenmead Sunday Tours Unveil Park's History June 26

Do you ever drive past the old structures on the southwest corner of Eight Mile and Newburgh Roads and wonder what their backstory is? It's Greenmead Historical Park and you can learn about the buildings 1-4 p.m. Sunday, June 26, during their Sunday Tours. More than one dozen structures on site all have Livonia origins and docents will be available at most of them to provide details during a self-paced tour this weekend.

The tour path begins at Delia's Treasures gift shop (located by the stop sign in the center of the park) for your admission pass. Admission is by donation this year.

Archery Programs Shooting Way into Summer with NEW Adult League

From open shooting times to a league, the Livonia Archery Range has something for archers of all ages and skill levels.
