Did you know Kirksey Recreation Center members receive access to all of the City-owned pools (both indoor and outdoor) at no extra cost AND have first access to registering for swim lessons; AND our memberships cost less than other local fitness centers with pools? What's not to love?! The indoor pools are open year round and the outdoor pools (excluding Shelden Pool) will be open regular hours starting June 18.

Celebrate Your June Birthdays with Everybody's Birthday

If your birthday is in June, this party is for YOU! Bring your friends for a fun afternoon of swimming, gym time and more from noon-4:30 p.m. Saturday, June 18, at the Kirksey Recreation Center. It’s Everybody’s Birthday, so come celebrate. The party rooms will be decorated for the occasion, with cake, beverages, trinket bags, birthday crowns, games and a photo backdrop to capture the moment.

New TumbleBunnies Camps Brings Hip Hop, Cheerleading to The Rec

The latest addition to our class lineup is TumbleBunnies hip hop and cheerleading camps this summer! Have your little ones dancing away or learning cheers with these two programs.

These fun camps are broken down by age group, with the Hip Hop Camp running Tuesday-Friday, July 5-8, and the Cheerleading Camp running Tuesday-Friday, Aug. 9-12. Camp times are as follows for both weeks:

Ages 3-4 from 1:15-2 p.m.
Ages 5-7 from 2-3 p.m.
Ages 8-10 from 3-4 p.m.
