Leisure Pool
6,500 SF of water that encourages adventure and unbelievable fun. This intriguing area begins with a zero depth entrance where you can walk thru or around a water playground with sprays and geysers. Stroll to the lazy river where you can enjoy a leisurely ride on an inner-tube, enjoy a relaxing moment in the spa or swim in the four lane, 25 yard warm-up pool.

For the kid in all of us, walk up the winding steps to our 25’ high platform, where the excitement awaits your journey on an inner tube, curving around and down the 250’ water slide splashing into the plunge pool.

Competition Lap Pool
12’ deep, eight 25 yard lanes, 1 meter diving board, movable floor and bulkhead. Pool floor can be raised to the deck surface or lowered to 7 feet.  Spectator seating for up to 400 people.

Monday - Friday *5:30 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Saturday *6:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Sunday  7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.






*The leisure pool is closed for classes on Saturdays from 9 a.m. - Noon year round.  In our Fall, Winter and Spring class sessions, the Leisure Pool is closed for classes on Monday and Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.  To view a detailed pool schedule, please click the Leisure Pool Schedule link above.


Leisure Pool Schedule Descriptions

OPEN
  Features including the Water Slide and Lazy River are available for use.  Occasionally, classes or training may be conducted during open swim.

MODIFIED OPEN - Modified Open sessions are the best times for parents with small children and seniors to enjoy our Leisure Pool.  The Leisure Pool is open although classes will be conducted there. The Water Slide will not be open except during special events or as noted below. Spray features will not be on during classes.

CLASSES/Modified- Limited space will be available due to class in session. No spray features or water slide. Best for parents with small children and seniors to enjoy our Leisure pool. 

CLASSES ONLY – During this time, the Leisure Pool is closed due to the large number of participants. A quiet area with less distractions is needed for the instructors and class participants.

CSC - We are the home pool for the Livonia Community Swim Club.  The team has swimmers from age 6 to high school age and practices between 3:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Lap Pool is closed occasionally for swim meets; please check the posted schedule for open lap lanes available and swim meet closures.

Pool Rentals
Thinking about an end of the school year party?  The Leisure Pool will open for scheduled groups, please call for day and time availability.  Planning a birthday party, team outing, family reunion, church gathering?  All Aquatic facilities are available for private rentals after normal operating hours.  For more information call (734) 466-2900. 



Important Aquatic Area Rules
  • Youth 11 and under must be directly supervised by a responsible person at least 16 years of age.  Non-swimmers must have an adult in the pool within arms reach at all times.
  • Avoid water activities if you have had diarrhea or a contagious disease in the past two weeks.
  • Showers are required before entering the pool.
  • Children who are not toilet trained must wear tight fitting plastic pants over a cloth or swim diaper.
  • An appropriate bathing suit is required for swimming, please no tee shirts, or street clothes in the water.
  • Lazy River and Water Slide riders under 48” tall must be accompanied by a parent or responsible person at least 16 years.
  • Lap Swim -You may need to share your lane with other swimmers.  Remember to circle swim, always staying to the right side.
  • Only lifejackets OR floatation devices built into the bathing suit are allowed (non-inflatable). The use of these items requires parent/guardian to be within arms reach of the youth at all times.  Toys may not be brought into or used in the pools.
  • Food/drink not permitted in the pool area.  Plastic water bottles only.  Gum is prohibited.
