Wood Recycling Center

The Mid-Michigan Recycling center accepts wood for disposal that is not handled by curbside or brush and branch services.

Industrial wood, pallets, wood chips, brush, logs, and stumps that are free of loose dirt are accepted. 

Residents with a Livonia driver’s license and proof of residency driving a personally owned vehicle can dump items for free. Please note the waived fees are for items from households and residential yards only. Businesses whose owners live in Livonia are subject to the regular fees.

Spring/Summer Hours:
Monday – Friday 7 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. 
Saturday 9 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. 

Fall/Winter Hours:
Monday – Friday 7 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. 
(Closed on Saturdays)

$6 per cubic yard or $20/ton (approx. 40 pallets in a ton)

$ 0.75 (for 3' x 3' or 4' x 4')
$ 1.50 (for larger pallets)


* A cubic yard is determined by measuring then multiplying the length, width and height of the pile then dividing by 27. 

 

Mid Michigan Recycling and the City of Livonia are not responsible for any damage to your vehicle during loading, unloading, and pull offs. 

 

Cash, check and Master Card and Visa are accepted.  Charge accounts are available upon approval.
